It's still hard for me to believe that I created something that could generate so much love from its fans.

While I was always pleased that the Larry game sold over two million copies, somehow I never fully realized the intensity of his fans' interest until Black Monday, that dark day in February, 1999 that Sierra closed its Oakhurst, California studios and also told me they were "not interested in producing another Larry game at this time."

Since then I've heard from hundreds and thousands of fans bemoaning the loss of "their" Larry. Their support has meant so much to me!

I decided to share some of their letters supporting Larry, me, and adventure games in general. I only wish that I had started saving them right away; I missed the first 500 or so!
